Sunday, November 20th, 2011

Gobble, gobble, ho, ho, ho!  Well the holidays are here again, and wouldn’t ya know it, right around the same time as last year.  The Waiter on the Way family will be delivering your meals right up until Thanksgiving (11/24),  for which we’ll be closed.  On Black Friday (11/25) however, when the last thing you can think of is getting back into your car and facing that traffic again, we’ll be open from 3-10 pm.  As for next month, we will be closed for the days of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (12/24 - 12/25).  We’ll be back in the office again Monday morning.  I mean hey, we gotta find out what Santa brought us…… turkeysign

Want to get ahead at work? Eat breakfast!!!

Monday, November 7th, 2011

Have you a big week at the office? Need to “step up” your game? There is one thing you can do that can have a significant effect on your performance.  It’s as simple as eating breakfast!

That bowl of cereal can really do wonders. Studies show that people who eat breakfast are more alert and perform better than those who do not start off their day with a meal. Research indicates that eating breakfast helps improve memory and positively affects the tasks that require the retention of new information.

Why Eat Local?

Sunday, October 23rd, 2011

Waiter on the Way is proud to partner with several locally owned restaurants. Why does this matter, you ask? Here’s why..

When we choose to dine at local restaurants, eat locally grown foods and shop at locally owned stores, it strengthens our local economy, keeps out city unique, and creates a more vibrant community.

Supporting local businesses doesn’t just benefit the business owners, it benefits our local economy, our community at large and ourselves.  A study found that spending  $100 at an independent, neighborhood businesses created $68 in additional local economic activity, while spending $100 at a chain produced only $43 worth of local impact. How is that for a return on investment?
