We have had several people wonder what is going in the old Fricker’s Location since they closed a while back, as the building has received a beach theme paint job. According to the new sign outside the building the new restaurant name is “Beach Bums Gourmet Burgers & More”. Maybe a Jimmy Buffet Style theme, only time will tell.

According to Indiana’s News Center the Summit Club, one of Fort Wayne’s elite dining establishments for club members has unexpectedly closed their doors do to not having enough money. The report suggests that the Summit Club had explored several options including having the general manager work without pay since February, however they could still not get ends to meet. The Summit Club was a restaurant partner of Waiter on the Way primarily for lunch time menu of boxed lunches, and of course with them closing this menu will be unavailable.
