King Gyro’s is this weeks, restaurant of the week.

King Gyro’s is located at 302 West Jefferson Blvd, just across from the new Fort Wayne Tin Caps baseball field.  King Gyro’s has been a long restaurant partner of Waiter on the Way and they have been a favorite among many of our customers.

 A gyro (pronounced Yee-row) is a Greek dish with meat, tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce.  Gyro’s are generally available in lamb or chicken varieties depending on the flavor that your prefer.  King Gyro’s also offers a wide variety of other dishes they are sure to please, including: Chicago Dogs, Rib Tips, Wings, Chicken, Burgers, Fish, Shrimp, and so much more!

Are you ordering what you want?

An interesting article on restaurant.org titled “Reading Between the Lines: The Psychology of Menu Design” suggests that restaurant menu designers are trained to find the “hot spots” on the menu where customers look most and place higher end items in those areas.  According to the article,  “A menu should tell a customer what you want them to buy”.

Next time you order from a restaurant, you can remember this article and not get tricked into ordering a food item that does not really sound appetizing in the first place.  You can avoid any marketing tricks and ensure that your getting a great meal that you want at a great price.

About Salvatori’s:

“Salvatori’s was founded in 2006 by Sam and Angelina Leto.  They started the restaurant with a dream and a notebook of old family recipes.  In the mid 1960’s, Sam’s family opened the first Italian restaurant in Fort Wayne, Indiana - “Leto’s Pizza.”  Sam’s father, Salvatori, worked there as a teenager and learned all of the family recipes.  A generation later, Salvatori’s Pizzeria Primo is proud to offer “Authentic Italian - Taste the Difference!”"

Salvatori’s is a 4 star restaurant that specializes in delicious Italian entrees ranging from appetizers such as Bruschetta and Sausage, Chicken and Roasted Peppers, to a wide range of different pastas, pizzas, salads, and sandwiches.  All individual food items are reasonably priced and Salvatori’s also offers catering options of pasta and salad available in full or half pans.

I love everything about this place.  It has good sandwiches, wonderful pasta and solid pizza.

Don Hall’s has been a Waiter on the Way restaurant partner for quite some time now and they are an area favorite.  Customers rave over the selection that this Don Hall’s location offers and keep coming back for more.  Popular items for delivery from Don Hall’s Triangle park include their steaks, chicken, ribs and salads.
